Marlon Harewood has not joined the Latics squad in Holland, and reports suggest that he is in talks with Aston Villa after they matched West Ham's asking price, regarding his footballing future.
Harewood's agent Mick McGuire said "We are currently in talks with Aston
Villa after they agreed a fee with West Ham, If the talks go well he will then undergo a medical as normal.

Mixed emotions reading this. Can't decide whether Harewood is a donkey or not. Don't know if he'll be a good buy for either club.
You never know, he might be a good foil for Heskey (with Sibierski paying just behind).
Although saying that, he'll probably have a Clive Allen season for Villa and knock in 40 goals!!
